This healthcare practitioner is trained to diagnose signs of eye disease, which may be related to Diabetes, Hypertension, Arthritis, Stroke, Auto-Immune conditions, Athersclerosis, Graves Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS, etc. Diagnosis and treatment of ocular conditions include Allergic Conjunctivitis, Bacterial/Viral Conjunctivitis, Dry Eyes, Ocular Trauma, Corneal Infections/Disease, Glaucoma, Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, Retinal Disease etc. An examination may include a prescription for glasses and/or contacts. First time contact lenses wearers are properly trained by our staff how to insert/remove/store contacts.
